Meet the Team

Lewis Blackburn

Co-owner/ Lead Tree surgeon

Lewis will usually be your first point of contact within the company and balances surveying jobs and organising the diary, whilst maintaining climbing trees on a weekly basis.

Jordan Tubby

Jordan is a very dependable member of our crew who has been with us the longest and is accumulating plenty of experience.
He is keen to become a climber and is currently working his way through his tickets, whilst learning the ropes (literally) about all things rigging from Carl!

Cameron Johnson

Trainee Groundsperson

Cameron originally comes from a farming background and can often be found extracting timber from local woodlands in one of our tractors, ready for us to process into firewood.
He will soon be working his way through his tickets whilst gaining experience on the job.

Carl Blackburn

Lead Groundsperson

Carl is Lewis’ father and is our most experienced crew member with decades of involvement in forestry.
Also known as ‘The Chainsaw Jedi’ - he is our go to guy on the ground when it comes to precision felling and rigging heavy timbers.

Michelle Blackburn

Co-owner/ Trainee groundsperson

Michelle is Lewis’ other half and juggles working part-time for the company through a combination of being on site and behind the scenes promotional work, alongside looking after their 7 children.
She is keen to work her way through her tickets, with the aim of climbing in the future.

Jeremy Miege

Tree surgeon

Jeremy is a fully qualified tree surgeon from France and has been in England for the past 3 years.
He is new to our crew but has already shown that he is a very versatile and reliable climber - a real asset to the team!

Amelia Macfarlane

Trainee Tree surgeon

Amelia has many years working in conservation for organisations such as Norfolk Wildlife Trust and has an extensive knowledge of all things arboricultural.
She is new to climbing but is progressing fast and is showing plenty of potential!
